Hi! You could use doveadm http api instead. See http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Design/DoveadmProtocol/HTTP It takes same parameters as command line. Hello Mike and Aki, Thanks for the response. I had been using FETCH 1:* in my IMAP module, but found it slow with folders with lots of messages or even large-sized messages folder. The doveadm seems elegant and faster but I hate to fork a command line from web-UI, for obvious security and performance reasons. It will be great if dovecot team will consider IMAP extensions to release doveadm features when useful/relevant like this.
