i'm not sure if
this is relevant, but i had lots of trouble on 2 win2k sp3 machines running
zonealarm. zonealarm cause random reboots on the slower pentium machine
and explorer lockups on the faster athlonXP machine. i switched to
outpost firewall and don't have any problems at all. of co
i'm curious about that too. for me, it's not just missing icons -- dqsd
prevents some programs from loading at startup. however, i've noticed that
after starting up and logging in, if i log out and in again, everything
loads perfectly fine. i minor annoyance, but all programs (with their
icons)
works fine for me.

dictionarypop as well and i get the same error message, except it's in a
little window above dqsd.
btw, i'm using win2k-sp3 and IE6, all with the latest updates.

actually, i've never been able to get googlespell to work. i have the
google license key entered using the syntax below but always get the same
error message when attempting to use it: "Error executing web service.
Client, Service unavailable null".
any idea what i might be doing wrong here?
