Hi Eric, I wrote one already although I haven't used it for a while so I don't know if it still works. It actually grabs the bookmarks export (netscape bookmark format) and parses it. It'd be faster if you could parse the cached version I'm sure. There's also a yahoo companion for mozilla at http://companion.mozdev.org/ and I believe they parse the cached version so you can look how they did it. Just curious if anyone would be interested in helping me create an add-in for yahoo bookmarks. I use yahoo bookmarks at home/work so that I dont have to update two favorite lists. But staying true to the purpose of Dave's it would be nice not to have to open your browser and then click on your favorites. It would be ideal to have a menu similar to the shortcuts menu in Dave's. I've noticed that Yahoo Toolbar creates a cached version of your bookmarks on your hard drive, but the format is difficult to interpet. Also a web link lists all of your bookmarks in html (i assume if cookies are enabled). Anyway if anyone is interested or has any advice for me I'd love to chat. I am not the greatest coder but i have dabbled in plenty and am eager to learn. I wont give up ;) Thanks to dave for creating the greatest app that I use. Eric Green

I wrote up a (quite large - 24kb) 'search' for myself that lets me hit pages and services on my site using their paths. Of course, it splits params on "/" so URL's have issues. :( What I've done for the mean time is use an alternate character and have the code replace that character with "/" when it actually runs the URL.
