Glenn, Charlie, The latest tagged and released version is revision 1804, and msk was fixed to comply with site changes in rev. 1813, so maybe the fixes aren't out yet? Charlie, I think you can use the httpinst search to upgrade your msk search from SVN directly, though I don't have DQSD handy so

Thanks, Kim. I'll try to grab the update. This is, of course ;-), on the 64bit version, since that's all I run. But that doesn't affect the search. Charlie. http://msmvps.com/xperts64 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/charlie.russel - Original Message - From: "Kim Gräsman" <[EMAI

[DQSD-Users] Search DQSD?

2007-11-25 Thread Charlie Russel
Is there a search to search DQSD's searches? Sometimes I'm sure there must be a search already there, but it takes me longer to find the existing one (if I find it at all), than it does to just go directly to the site and search the old fashioned way. If there isn't such a search, could we have

Now I'm truly embarassed. :) I've used ? to bring up the entire help file, of course. But never used it as an alias to search for something within that help. But, _of course_, that's what it does. Duh. So, Kim, et al. What's it going to take to actually get a released version that is both 32-bit

Brian Peek did one based on the current RC. I don't know if it ever got folded back in to SVN, however - that's outside my area of expertise. As I recall, we had to manually (well, scripted) register the DLLs. That build works acceptably on Vista 64 (with the GUI changes we did for Vista applies

The updated msk search does not work correctly. Try "msk 930045". You'll see the issue. Newer KB articles don't have Q anywhere in them. :( Charlie. http://msmvps.com/xperts64 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/charlie.russel - Original Message - From: "Kim Gräsman" <[EMAIL PROTEC

My apologies. I forgot. This particular version of not quite right 64-bit DQSD uses the \Program Files directory for its binaries, but actually reads the searches in \Program Files (x86). Now THAT's a bug I'd like to see fixed in a released 64bit version! Mea Culpa - I was replacing the wrong one
