Re: [DQSD-Users] Installs to c drive moving
Hey Kim, Kim Gräsman wrote: Any problems I should be aware of if I move the installation files? There's nothing relevant in the registry I could see. You need to re-register DQSDTools.dll like this (from the command line): C:\NewDirregsvr32.exe DQSDTools.dll I'm not sure if DQSD even works in another dir, but it's worth a try. I used a trial version of Funducs Application Mover to move dsqd to the other drive. Afterwards I rebooted, then reregistered the dll as above and then rebooted again. The result was a msn web page showing in dqsd :-) Cheers, Tom. --- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now. I removed this and readded DQSD and it appears to work fine now running from e:\dqsd. Cheers, Tom. --- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now. [DQSD-Users] why showing tied to clocklongwidth
I would like the search bar smaller as I use a 2 level task bar. But to see the popup button it must be greater than clocklongwidth (default=139). Why is it tied to this? I my screen the search bar is 4.2cm (1.75inches) wide and is not visible. Any ideas? Cheers, Tom. [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tyler : Our generation has had no Great Depression, no Great War. RE: [DQSD-Users] Installs to c drive moving
Just copy all the .xml_disabled files to a different directory d:\temp Then at a DOS prompt ren d:\temp\*.xml_disabled *.xml Do similar for the others... To change the xml to xml_disabled. Re: [DQSD-Users] Installs to c drive moving
Tom if it helps any in the future, the renaming utility can toggle all the searches at once with the buttons at the top of the page and also the utility can toggle the searches in a particular category by clicking the category name in the category column (computers, finance, etc.).. It's still a fair amount of clicking of course, but if you are enabling the vast majority of the searches in a category, you can enable all of them at once, then click them off to disable them... Of course hang on to the batch file, -or- save the form with one of the form fillers (roboform etc) for future use.. Please dont send me any doctor bills for carpal tunnel syndrome... :-) Monty - Original Message - From: John W.
