Not this particular issue (not knowing all the details), but I've
reproduced the multi-line height issues described last week. I
posted an alternative 'blue' scheme set to the bugs tracker item:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1102386&gro
up_id=42081&atid=432066

I'm still awaiting feedback on the changes I made ("new_blue.zip" at
the bottom of the tracker). The current XP styled themes use a
single background graphic for the 'theme' then another overlayed
graphic to represent the textbox, instead of styling the textbox
itself. The changes I made use a single background 'top' image, a
solid background color and a stylized text box (instead of a
background image for the textbox).

No, but I'm dying to find out! :-)

We've seen variations on this problem for the last couple of weeks, but none
of the developers can repro on their machines...
Can you share some more details on your environment?

I suspect you're running Windows XP, since you're getting a themed bar, but
what else is special?

Thanks for any leads,
- Kim

[DQSD-Users] Search Text Box State

2005-01-28 Thread Chris Brandt

I’ve installed V3.1.9.1 on two different machines and
search input text box behaves differently on both machines. On the first, the
white text box completely disappears after some period of inactivity, leaving
the blue search bar with the date and time clearly visible. On the other, the
white text box only partially disappears when inactive, leaving the white text
box appearing to overlay a fixed width of the search bar (meaning, if I resize
the bar the text box stays the same size) and the date. The date and time are
no longer fully visible. Also, I have been able to edit (enter text into) this
overlayed white text box, which seems really odd. That text just stays there
and does nothing, and I’m not sure how I did it.

Both machines had V3.1.8 previous to the V3.1.9.1 install.

Any ideas on how I could have configured the second machine
differently?

Chris.
