I have seen it do that if you resize the taskbar and dqsd is already displayed.. but you should be able to move it around get it to snap back to a single line.. I have had to drag it around a bit to get it to resize, but you should be able to do it.. This is a windows thing.. dqsd isnt doing anything specifically to control the the height of the bar.. I think the google search already supports the video search with the "/vid" switch.. enter "gg ?" in the toolbar to see all the available switches..
