Monty's utility to disable searches is so necessary to help system
startup time - http://master-minds.net/cgi-bin/disablesearches.cgi.
Has anyone looked at the help information lot loading for any disabled
searches? A reload keeps all the disabled searches in the help.

Having disabled a lot of my searches using the batch
generated by http://master-minds.net/cgi-bin/disablesearches.cgi
on a reload I now get an error saying conditional
compilation is turned off. Also my local var definitions
in localrefs.js do not seem to be loaded.

I have 67 searches enabled (329 disabled), and I'm fairly certain that only
the searches which are enabled show up in my help.
As an aside, you might check out the qsfreq 'search', which also allows you
to disable searches. I wrote it because it was too painful (for me) to
manually
qsfreq records the searches used regardless of how they are invoked
(explicitly or through auto-parsing, like Shawn said), so that almost might
help resolve the problem.
