I'd like to submit an idea to everyone. This is something I've setup on my DQSD and thought others would like to try out. The idea is to addsome international functionality to the search engines. for example have gguse www.google.de instead if a preference.js countrycode="de". This could alsobe linked to the holiday.de.xml My concept is to add a folder called "intsearches" in the "Quick Seach Deskbar" folder. inside here would reside searches with a naming convention such as .us.xml and .ca.xml, etc... a minor change to loader.js can add the searches that match the countrycode. the attached doc has more details if you're interested or checkout my website at: http://www.metrocast.net/~peteh/toolbar.html Thanks for the time, Pete intdir.doc Description: MS-Word document

Darn, my last message didn't get through because I attached a .js file :-(. I'm resending it zipped this time. Here's my original email: Hi, I'm back again already :-). Really, I'm digging using this program. So, I thought I'd fix another thing that was bothering me. In portuguese, the= original Windows clock tooltip reads something like this (for today): segunda-feira, 22 de julho de 2002 I tried to make dqsd print the same tooltip with this format string: , d de de But look what happened: Segunda, 22 22e Julho 22e 2002 Ooops... Well, to make a long story short, I added basic character escapi= ng to clock.js. Now, I can use this to get the right tip: , d \\de \\de (Double backslashes because one gets escaped by javascript) There are also minor differences in the names (Segunda instead of segu= nda-feira) that I could fix in strings.js but that's OK. I'm sending the modified file attached. I hope you guys like the code :-)= . cheers, Andrew -- Use o melhor sistema de busca da Internet Radar UOL - http://www.radaruol.com.br clock.zip Description: Zip compressed data

I have a project that requires me to search for 13,000 text items within 1,300 MSWord.doc files (located in a single folder). The text items are in an Excel sheet. Is the search engine equiped to define the search location to a desktop and to auto search a list and document its findings to a table?
