Please don't send bug reports directly to me - either use the sourceforge bug tracker, or send them to the dqsd-users mailing list. Ranting about the unacceptability of a minor problem or exclaiming that you can't fathom why it hasn't been fixed is unlikely to win you friends or enable you to influence people. DQSD is a free product which is worked on by people their spare time or in time they've stolen of their employers. I'm an extremely minor contributor but despite that, I've put time into DQSD which would be worth many thousands of dollars at my usual rates. I don't recall you paying me for any of that. Be grateful for what you've got, and if you don't like it, get on and fix it. That's what I did.
