Re: [DQSD-Users] conditional compilation is turned off?
Thanks guys. I did not have qsfreqLogSearchFrequency set in my localprefs so can;t use that yet. I remember now when you added qsfreq sometime ago Glen, I had totally forgotten about that. In fact I have put up with the load time and never bothered to disable before, mainly due to xp being so solid not, that I often don't reboot for a while just go into standby. Of late though I really have been noticing it on my work machine which I have been rebooting frequently testing stuff and so decided to disable the ones I did not use. Anyway, I used the bulk rename utility to re-enable each letter in turn starting with a*.disabled. I reloaded each time and worked my way through. Now with all searches enabled and having rebooted I still get the same conditional compilation is turned off message :-( Any thoughts? Tom. qsfreq records the searches used regardless of how they are invoked (explicitly or through auto-parsing, like Shawn said), so that almost might help resolve the problem. > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf > Of Shawn K. For example, "dns" is used within the auto-parser, so could raise errors when a function from it is called if the script does not exist. Same with the phone number lookup or math functions. There are a couple of scripts and functions I wrote that rely on the "vbsx" script - which might cause the error you're receiving. Try re-enabling the scripts one by one (they're just renamed in the search directory) and reloading it to see if it fixes it. -Shawn - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. [DQSD-Users] conditional compilation is turned off?
Having disabled a lot of my searches using the batch generated by http://master-minds.net/cgi-bin/disablesearches.cgi on a reload I now get an error saying conditional compilation is turned off. Also my local var definitions in localrefs.js do not seem to be loaded. Thanks, Tom. - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
