I'd like to completely remove the banner from the deskbar. I'm not
really sure why it was added, in fact, since one of the main goals of
the deskbar is to use as little desktop real estate as possible... but
that's another subject :)

I tried doing this in localprefs.js, but there still appears to be a 1x1
banner showing to the left of the clock and search box:
  bannerwidth  = 0;
  bannerheight = 0;

Is there a way to remove the banner completely?
