The AC-4 problem my friend was having where he was having trouble
interchanging them turned out to be bad contacts on the connectors! Detox
did the trick and all is well thanks to all who answered my question. Dan
I have a very nice TR-7/R-7 pair and I want to install some protection
on the input of the TR-7 to protect from static etc..
anyone got suggestions of product and/or supplier ???

Drake used a Xicon CG90L Gas Discharge tube across the RFC that is across one of
the rear panel antenna jacks. This was included in later TR-7's, and was added
as an upgrade in early units sent in for repair. Mouser has them for around $3.00.

Hello Craig and group,
I had problems with oscillation on my TR7. Setting the predriver to minimum gain

Is there some supplier that sell the 4 line mic
plugs? Dan
Mouser has the Switchcraft straight (S-260), or right angle (S-230) versions in
stock.

Mouser has the Switchcraft straight
In the mouser catalog, I only see the 502-S-260 (3-conductor straight).
Don't see any right-angled S-230 (0.206 diam.) plugs. Are they special
purchase or something?

Mark,
I don't have a paper copy of the Mouser catalog but here is a direct link below to the online Mouser catalog for the Switchcraft "Drake .206" Right Angle plug.

Just do a search on S230, and select Switchcraft. Shown as In Stock.
