[Drakelist] Looking for excellant 4 'B' line

2010-08-05 Thread kc9cdt
Hi gang, Changed my mind...I am looking for a excellant 4b line now instead of a TR4. Must be very clean all the way, no or very little corrosion on chassis. Don't need a MS-4 or AC-4, got that covered. I am looking for a keeper set here. Please contact OFF list. 73, Lee, KC9CDT

You just did, Francis. It's as simple as addressing your email to drakel...@zerobeat.net. It's nice to put a subject line in though, as some on the list delete all messages with no subject. Welcome to the list. 73, Don, WB5HAK ___ Drakelist

[Drakelist] L4B amp

2010-08-05 Thread ROBERT SMITH
Hi all I had my L-4B amp tore down doing some cleaning on it and fixing the blower fan. I notice a blown .1 cap C-26 going to RFC 2 and the filament. It is stamp .1 Z5V +80 -20 on the capacitor. Look everywhere and no luck. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Bob WØVU

Hi Bob. I can't say for sure as I haven't opened up my L-4B, but I would imagine what you have is a .1uf cap, 25V, +80%/-20% tolerance. 73 - Mark N1VQW ___ Drakelist mailing list Drakelist@zerobeat.net

As a side note, I'm not sure how critical it is to have feedthrough bypass capacitors. Not sure how critical that circuit is but the L7 uses disc capacitors, not feedthrough style. 73, Evan, K9SQG -Original Message- From: Mark Pilant pil...@sambelkee.mv.com To:
