In the firearms world, there are oven cure coatings of various black/greys,
easy spray on bare metal and cure in kitchen oven. My drake 7 cases are good
enough to not touch, and no sticky paint, but I'd look carefully at the

The TR-4C works a little differently in CW/TUNE than the T-4X(any).
Essentially the Carrier Oscillator is shifted by about 800-900 kHz to put it within the passband of
the LSB filter. A 750 ohm resistor (R72) is inserted
Looking for a Drake AC-4 power supply in good shape, must be complete
functional even if not re-habbed/re-capped/upgraded. Just need the supply,
not the MS-4 to mount it in.
Need something to power up my new T-4X.
