I have a MN2700 that is no longer reading correct forward or reflected power. It also is not reflecting the correct output power. These tests have been done using a DL300 dummy load and a TR7. I've tested using another trusted device, a MN-2000, which shows correct readings for SWR and out

Richard, I would suggest a shorted RCA plug in the mute jack on the back so all positions of the FUNCTION switch will work giving you the NB and CAL positions you might need. No other connections that I can think of are needed at all. 73, Don, WB5HAK __

The manual for the R-4C apparently does not address the use of the receiver without connecting it to another Drake transmitter. Obviously the antenna and speaker jacks need to be connected but which other jacks need to be shorted (or not) to make the receiver work. I do not want to experiment w
