Do you mean a TR-4? Not sure how a RIT would be used on a RX.
I had a RIT that I installed on my TR3, reversed it before I sold it. QST
article about it was fairly straight forward. I would think a TR4 would work
similarly.

Does anyone have any insights as to how to correct an RF tune control problem
on my T4X.
It will not tune 160 and 10 meters because at the extreme ends the control
slips. The center
section tunes fine. I suspect the grease has turned hard. Any ideas or methods
of repair?

I have pulled a TR-4C off the shelf, blown off a little dust and am trying to
get it ready to put on the air. I know that I will have more questions but I
want to start with the most important. When I try to adjust the bias current, I
get no change in the current as I adjust the potentiometer.
