Mike, The MN-2000 is built like a tank, but adding for 160 is a real modification. The WARC bnads, however are possible just by using the nearest band setting and tuning - depends on the mismatch. If only 300 watts or so is going into the tuner then go for the MN-4C to pick up the 160 band -

Yep.. I suppose it depends somewhat on the antenna, but my 40M OCF tunes with the MN200 for all the WARC bands. Again, depending on the antenna, it is certainly possible to use an alternate feed out for the 160 setup and use an external inductor and/or cap in series with the MN2000. I

If you really must have an exact duplicate, if you have one good one, you can use urethane casting resin. First, using the good part, you make a mold set from silicone molding material, then cast the resin into the mold. I have made duplicate keyboard caps for specialty industrial automation

I am able to tune part of the medium wave band on the Drake R4A, but the stations are weak even though they are powerful nearby broadcasters. I thought I saw that the sensitivity is padded below 1.6 Mhz. Is this true on the Drake? ___ Drakelist
