I recently bought tw0 L-7 amps and only got one L-7PS. Someone had fooled around with the P.S and had made a wiring error which I repaired and it now works fine. One of the rf decks came without the parasitic chokes and plate caps installed, I have the parts in the un-opened Drake blister-pak.

I forgot to mention that you could also install a relay to take the load off trhe power switch at the same time. This will fit in the deck also, is easy to do, and will protect that switch which is no longer obtainable. All the mods I mentioned require no holes and can be removed without a

Hi Marty, As far as I know, the L-4 power supply is identical to the L-7 supply for the L- RF deck. I have both of them here and have had both apart to install a fan. While you are at it, you might think about installing a soft start and filament voltage dropping circuit in the rigs. Both are
