I have a nice R-4C that has an issue I have never seen before. The AGC only functions in Slow mode. The AGC switch checks out as does the Function switch. A previous owner had jumbled the wires to the AGC switch (probably trying to fix the problem)- I am close to 100% sure they are now correct- but the problem persists. In all positions except Slow, the AGC voltage is high, around -75VDC from memory and thus cuts off the stages controlled by AGC. In Slow, the RX appears to function normally and S meter readings are OK.
