I have an extra TR7 PS7 combo I would like to sell. Both units function
fine. Prefer pickup but will ship; $300.00 (plus shipping from
Tallahassee, FL.)

Good DX,

Hi Group:

I have a non-functioning but cosmetically very nice PS-7 for parts or as a
repair project.

$50 + actual cost to ship.

Subject: [Drakelist] Microphone wiring question

I have used a Shure 404C microphone on my TR-4 for many
years. Recently it
quit on me. I discovered that the wires had finally broken
at the plug
end. So, my problem is that I am not sure which wire from
the mike goes to
which connection at the plug. There is a red wire, a
white wire (which
appears to be shielded), and a black wire coming from the
mike.
The 1/4" plug has 3 screw connections. The first appears
to connect to
the body of the plug which has the threaded portion. The
2nd and 3rd go to
the
interior of the plug.
Any ideas?
Thanks again. I am hoping that you guys will do just 1/2
as good a job as
you did with my audio hum a few weeks back.
