I just tried that package and it worked for me. Could you try manually installing the modules? Make backups of the modules first and then copy them over your X installation: from dripkg/core: cp libdrm.a /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/linux/ from dripkg/mach64: cp ati* /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers

Leif, I downloaded the mach64 snapshot this morning and Tuxracer looks very strange. It looks like it's only redrawing certain parts of the display (the mountains), but the rest is just a mangle of pixels, which "sort-of" look like Tux... Tristan ___
