Hi all,

I'm going to try Linux 2.4.3 tonight and wondering which DRM module
would best for my V5 5500 AGP... I used the kernel's one since it was
included in the mainstream kernel, and it always worked fine since.

But I realize that there have been several updates to at least _some_
DRM modules in the past which are not yet in Linux 2.4.3; the question
is, what's the difference between the mainstream kernel's tdfx DRM and
the one from CVS, if any ?

At work I use a G400 and had to use the DRM from CVS because 2.4.x's DRM
appears to be "too old"... does this apply to the tdfx DRM as well ?
Last time I tried (2.4.2) it still worked fine with the kernel's DRM.

Thanks for any advice !

Rene
