So I'm wondering if it may have to do with my second screen for the tvout. Looks like it's either that, the VideoRam directive or the depth. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. -- ___ Dri-devel mailing list Dri-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
[Bug 6357] savage problem: glxgears produce black window
Please do not reply to this email: if you want to comment on the bug, go to the URL shown below and enter yourcomments there. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6357 --- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-06-14 13:09 --- I've got this problem too. I think it's related to the problem with Xorg 7.1 and the apparent problems this version has with the nvidia and ati drivers - might be graphics in general. I've got a Targa Visionary 1600 laptop, which has a VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc. VT8636A [ProSavage KN133] AGP4X VGA Controller (TwisterK) (rev 01) according to lspci I'm a gentoo user, with kernel 2.6.16 I have the following packages (installed by portage): x11-drivers/xf86-video-savage 2.1.1 media-libs/mesa 6.5 x11-apps/mesa-progs 6.5 x11-base/xorg-x11 7.1 x11-base/xorg-server 1.1.0 Programs like Dosbox and scummvm seem to work still, but glxgears displays a black window, and an opengl game that I'm making (that does not use the SDL) creates a window, but doesn't ever draw to it, so you can still see the window underneath (or what was there before the window appeared). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. -- ___ Dri-devel mailing list Dri-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
moving ATI driver from CVS to GIT
Hi, As the ATI driver lacks a clear maintainer and really wants to live in git I've migrated it. The git URL is git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati I'm awaiting admin intervention to do a few other things (non-admin shouldn't try to migrate things it is too much hassle :-) Dave. -- David Airlie, Software Engineer http://www.skynet.ie/~airlied / airlied at skynet.ie Linux kernel - DRI, VAX / pam_smb / ILUG -- ___ Dri-devel mailing list Dri-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel

[Bug 7233] New: OpenGL unusably slow due to missing IRQs on i945
Please do not reply to this email: if you want to comment on the bug, go to the URL shown below and enter yourcomments there. https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7233 Summary: OpenGL unusably slow due to missing IRQs on i945 Product: DRI Version: XOrg CVS Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: libGL AssignedTo: dri-devel@lists.sourceforge.net ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi all! I am running: Debian/unstable with libgl1-mesa-dri from experimental, ie 6.5.0.cvs.20060524-1 kernel 2.6.17-rc6-mm2 Xorg 7.0.0 Acer TravelMate 3012, (--) Chipset 945GM found and GL is extremely slow. The problem is verysimilar to bug #6672, but this time on i910 driver. Starting googleearth gives me: do_wait: drmWaitVBlank returned -1, IRQs don't seem to be working correctly. Try running with LIBGL_THROTTLE_REFRESH and LIBL_SYNC_REFRESH unset. and nothing is shown. Earlier I had dri/drm disabled and at this time googleearth was working better/at all. Any hints what I could try?
