But i think it slows down boot time (I discovered it while trying to reduce boot time) and I cannot use hardware accelerated video decoding, can I? I would need access to the hardware to figure out in detail what is going wrong here. Did that ever worked? If yes bisecting when it started to fail might be a good idea.
