Hi All,

The JDK lifecycle length has changed in Java 7, with Oracle ending public
support for Java 7 this month, April 2015.

I don't know if major testing of DSpace with Java 8 has occurred, but it
appears that the time to shift to JDK8 has already happened. To me, it
feels like JDK6 was supported for a very very long time, and now JDK7 feels
short lived in comparison. So, I was wondering if there was any JAVA8 known
issues with DSpace.
