Hey!!
I'm trying to login on Dspace's REST API (v6/master) to test some things
but i can't. I've done it several times before and i can login on others
instances of Dspace (all v5.x), but it doesn't work on Dspace6. I've tried
on Demo DSpace and on a local instance (fresh install).

Hi Dale,
It sounds like (as you noted in your first message) the metadata
registries failed to update automatically. The "database info" script
only checks the database *structure*, and not the contents in the
tables. So, in the case of the registry contents, you can always
manually re-run
Thanks. Sadly, the database info return success and preinit for everything
but the database was missing many of the new changes for the metadatavalues for
eperson.

Hello Hayden,
thanks for helping out.
I did what you've suggested but I couldn't find any configure file within
/dspace/config directory which has '127.0.0.1' in it, excepts
"clamav.cfg" file.
Do you have any other suggestions?
thanks

Yes, in fact till now i am failing to get solution of the same on web. also
tried to optimize the collection using command dspace index-discovery -o
which sucessfully worked but dspace index-discovery is not working.
Today i tried to run the same command on the another installation but
DSpace 5.4
I have
- community A
- in A - subcommunity B
- in B - collection C
1. I have an user with "admin" rights on A
- he can not delete B
- he can not delete C
2. I have an user with
-"admin" rights on A
-"remove" rights on A
- he can delete B
- he can not delete C
For one
okay that's a very strange problem. Only other thing I can think of is to
explicitly set the port on the solr.xml config.
Back up /path/to/dspace/solr/solr.xml
Open /path/to/dspace/solr/solr.xml
Change:
to
Restart tomcat and see if that fixes the connection refused issue (but the
Rosetta does OAI-PMH, but there are a lot of things DSpace doesn't include
in the OAI-PMH feed.
