Under the Angular "dspace-ui-deploy" directory where you copy the Angular
"dist" folder, I'm seeing large core.* files. These (binary) files keep
growing in this directory, can someone tell me what these files are for and
can the number of them be limited, since they

mail server. This username and password has nothing to do with the DSPACE
application other than DSpace sends the username and password to the mail
server as authorization when sending email from DSpace.
Hope this helps.
I've been working on migrating from DSpace 6 using Oracle to DSpace 7 using
Postgres and believe I have been able to transfer the data properly.
However, when I go to "Browse by Author" some of the records show a UUID,
dspace_object_id, resource_id, or authority when I should be seeing the
I hoping someone can help. I'm attempting to upgrade from 6.3 to 7.7.1, but
when I run the command "/bin/dspace/database info", I'm getting Out of
Order for DS-2818 registry update. How would I correct the "Out of Order"?
Below I have include the output from "bin/dspace/database info".
I was looking for a solution to this issue not only for DSpace 6.x, but
another application I use "GeoServer". See this "
https://www.geosolutionsgroup.com/blog/geosolutions-lo4shell/; for their
solution "log4j-1.2.17-norce.jar" for Log4J and their explanation of the
differences between Log4J
Just letting you know, we use Oracle as our database. I have asked our
Oracle/Functional Area Expert to contact Oracle for support. I sure hope
support can continue, I would NOT want to find away to migrate our Oracle
instance to PostgreSQL.
