Hi all, I am trying to use authority control for dc.contributor.author as metadata. In dsapce.cfg file configuration i have set this properties:
I have decommented all these statements: plugin.named.org.dspace.content.authority.ChoiceAuthority = \ org.dspace.content.authority.SampleAuthority = Sample, \ org.dspace.content.authority.LCNameAuthority = LCNameAuthority, \ org.dspace.content.authority.SHERPARoMEOPublisher = SRPublisher, \ org.dspace.content.authority.SHERPARoMEOJournalTitle = SRJournalTitle, \ org.dspace.content.authority.SolrAuthority = SolrAuthorAuthority lcname.url = http://alcme.oclc.org/srw/search/lcnaf choices.plugin.dc.contributor.author = LCNameAuthority choices.presentation.dc.contributor.author = lookup authority.controlled.dc.contributor.author = true authority.required.dc.contributor.author = true then I restart tomcat and during submission process, when I insert an known name as "Giolitti, Giovanni" and click on lookup button a popup appears with this error Failed to load choice data: Server indicates error in response I remember that some months ago, when i used dspace 6.2, when i inserted these value, i received a good response: the name of the author with the date of born.
