I do want to enable thumbnails and XPDF support for jspui .
I do have image_io.jar , jai_core.jar
but when i try to run following command
mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=com.sun.media -DartifactId=jai_imageio
-Dversion=1.0_01 -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/image_io/jai_imageio.jar

When trying SWORD (with php-app-library) I noticed, that DSpace /

this depends on which version of DSpace with which UI you are using.
If you got 1.5.* with jspui check the [dspace-source]/config/dspace.cfg
