Dear Pablo,
Thanks for your advice once again. I have been able to mix the authors
with/without RPs in the same field, and I have also hardcoded to add a link
pointing the authors without RPs back to search the DSpace-CRIS with the
author name as a parameter.
I have tried to toy around the
PS: This also happens on my dev server.

Hi,
Finally the solution to this problem has come with an update of Java.
We've updated from Java 7 to 8. Other software versions and configurations
remains the same.
The system have been stable since last wednesday. Anyway, it still is kept
under observation.

Hilton,
I cannot find any of the Java logger messages in the log file
which would imply the code is not running (I have no idea why) or it is logging
to somewhere else.
I have looked at various log on a test system and cannot find
any trace of these messages.
Hilton,
Are there any entries in the log like:
checking for patterns or checking for
handles
The second message should be in the log if the code that tests
for handle matches is executed.
Regards,
Ben
PS: I have uploaded the themes to:

Hilton,
Can you switch debug on and post your log?
The ThemeMatcher code has a series of logging that should help
(the code looks a bit odd to me but probably just personal style).

Hi All
I am trying to colourise our faculty communities.

Here is the faculty palette:

Attached is my xmlui.xconf file.
The XMLUI does not seem to obey the colourisation.
I have tried the following to
Hi Ben
On my production system, I am afraid not.
Perhaps someone has a dev system to duplicate this.
I may have to turn off this customisation on my prod server if users start
to complain.
I am going to leave as it is, so that the DSpace dev community can observe
the weird behaviour.
But if users

Out of curiosity, will the error with regards to null metadata values
actually affect anything? Those are supposed to be non-existent (those
items don't have metadata for those fields). A cursory overlook
indicates it didn't but figured I'd ask.
I am not sure what
