[Dspace-tech] batch modifications

Dear Friends, I want to do batch modifications on dspace 1.6.2. I have modified some metadata information on some .csv file using excel When I try to import it the issue date is added and removed the previous issue data setting. Is there a way to block or ignore issue data modification.

Hi Sisay, Peter's suggestion will work, and is perhaps the best option. Remove any columns that you are not editing. However what might be happening is that Excel is converting the date string to a date-formatted cell, and when it saves it back to the CSV it saves it in a different format.
