[Dspace-tech] Using poppler instead of xpdf to manipulate pdf bitstream

I'm going to install the XPDF support for filtering PDFs for text extraction/search and generating thumbnail images on a DSpace 1.5.2 instance. My centos 5 distribution however, has poppler (a fork of xpdf 3.xx) which seems to have the same programs used. Can anyone say whether they have used

Hi. I'm using SWORD to make some ingestions into my DSpace. All seems to work fine but now I'm trying to generate the met file with author, contributors and so on... I saw some examples and I know how to write the author/creator (dc.contributor.author) but I didn't see examples about how to
