Hi all,

I am preparing the upgrade to DSpace 5.3 and noticed a NullpointerException in
Tomcat localhost logfiles. Is this related to the Jira DS-2078? That should
have been fixed in version 5.0. Despite the warnings in the log, I finally
managed to get OAI working.

When loading the oai webapp Tomcat reports a message that it can't create the
MBean
18-Aug-2015 14:08:50.026 INFO [localhost-startStop-1]
org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationContext.log Can't create webapp MBean:
org.dspace.utils.DSpaceWebapp

When stopping Tomcat, this results in a NullpointerException
18-Aug-2015 14:29:00.286 SEVERE [localhost-startStop-2]
org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.listenerStop Exception sending context
destroyed event to listener instance of class

best wishes, Francis
