Hi Vijay, Your quoted lines do not record the happening of java exceptions so that it is not useful.
You should repeat your action to create the error in dspace. Then immediately view the tail of your tomcat log file. The error should normally be recorded with date and time as a stack trace in catalina.out. If not, look into other tomcat log files for the stack trace. If there is no logging of the error, there can be non-standard configuration in your tomcat that prevented it from recording exceptions. Fix your tomcat first. Regards, Allen Lam.
