Looking at the script, it seems to force the value of $mail to the
specific user and then passes that variable to dspam. i.e. it is not
getting the value of $mail from dspam.

I have the attached patch to the mysql driver that should go in. It's
part of the 3.8.1cvs build on debian/ubuntu and fixes some problematic
