it is necessary.
Could someone take the time to run:
chmod 644 webui/cgi-bin/templates/*
chmod 644 webui/cgi-bin/admins
chmod 644 webui/cgi-bin/default.prefs
chmod 644 webui/cgi-bin/rgb.tx
