The W6UUU repeater often drops its dplus link to reflectors. Yesterday it
did this in the middle of a transmission from a reflector. I am trying to
determine where the problem might be. Dplus log file of the failure

The D-Star repeater will work the same regardless of it being on or off the
gateway. The only thing you will not have is the ability to go across the
internet to other gateways. Typically I do all my voice and data local.
