Since duplicity uses tar format, the filename must also be in tar
format. Try:
$ duplicity restore --file-to-restore

Yes, that's what I meant by it being listed in the backup-list. The
directory and all the files appear in that list.

I'm trying to restore a directory from S3. I see it listed in the backup-list
but I get a "/data/Eric/files/Geneology not found in archive - no files
