Fascinating. I've had an idea to do something like this, but also
including a small paragraph and screenshots. Seems I've already been
beaten to the punch however (by several sites). Chances are it probably
wont stop me. :)

  There are already articles about window managers
  on wikipedia.org. You'd only need to organize,
  clean-up and complete the articles.

I thought it might be worth to mention here:

This would be better handled in a Wiki, but having
the list can be useful, especially as xwinman.org seems
to be 'stable' :).
