I am about 400 miles west of KRVN and they normally about peel the paint
off here all the time. They were being over taken by KHAC. A phone call to
their engineering team tells me they are having some problems and may be
off air at times tonight and when they are on, will be at low power, 5000
XEXX-AM 1420 Tijuana was off the air Tuesday January 28th at least part of
the night. I caught them back on the air Wednesday January 29th.. a 6am
mountain check resulted in nothing, but they came back around 7:45am
mountain.
When I heard them they played a dance party rave type tune followed by
KLIV 1590 is back on the air with 300 watts into a very short vertical

Heard the top of hour time tones from NHK Radio 2's 747khz 500kw Sapporo
transmitter at 1300UTC mountain time and there is some real weak audio in
the schlop there. Some weak audio continues in the 1300UTC hour, enough to
know it's them but not even a native speaker would likely understand it.

KVSI 1450 Montpeiler, ID with Hot AC music, signal actually held on for
several minutes, faded out and heard a mention of "The Wave" and 101.7,
their translator. Not a new log, but only the second time heard here They
are listed as country
anyone hearing this? Several dxers in Michigan and Ontario have, but no
idea who it is. I have not heard it in Wyoming. Paul

KFIR is competing against WGN Chicago here at my QTH in Laramie, WY. IT
wouldnt do that if it were on night power, I don't think. I've never heard
KFIR until this week when it may have been at day power earlier this week
as well. It's been heard by a few DX'ers in other parts of the country.
FYI:
It appears the “problem” has been “fixed”. KERR disappeared mid song about
11:25pm mountain

Due to flooding, the nighttime pattern switching failed and they've
requested an Special Temporary Authority to operate with 1250 Watts Non
Directional from the single daytime non directional tower. I don't see a
date this is effective to but theyre usually for at least 30-60 days
minimum but
Hearing what sounds likes like CRI on 15120? Im not sure what language its
in but it sounds like theyre doing language lessons.. could be spanish and
chinese?
Nothing on Eibi says something should be here at this hour.
