Sorry for the off topic subject but thought I might ask as one never knows.
Does anyone know of anyone who restores Brown Bros keys? I have one with a
broken beam/rail. Thought I had found someone, K7QO, but am unable to
contact him.
Thanks for any sugestions.

As I recall from being on the DX Advisory Committee at that time, we were
told it didn't count. I don't remember who told us, but my best guess would
be K5FUV, Bill Kennemer, who ran the DX program at that time. Huge photos
were circulated showing the legs of the scaffolds were in the water

Well I got news for you about VU4. It will be active again, only a matter
of time.
Let me relate a story about VU4. It point out that things happen overnight
that we cannot foresee. Here is the story.
An Indian citizen, Mani, VU2ANI, was in Port Blair on the Andaman and

Anybody know of any software that supports the USB ports found on the newer
laptop computers. I am looking for RTTY and CW software/logging programs.
It is my understanding that CT doesn't support USB ports nor does the WF1B
RTTY program. Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction to a
Quite some time ago, there was a disk, I thought either in the Handbook, an
Antenna Compendium or another book published by the ARRL, that had some
programs that were started by typing MENU. This was back on the old DOS
machines. One neat program that I am looking for was a sunrise/sunset table

Someone published a most needed country survey recently. Did anyone keep
the URL? I think the RTTY survey is by AA5AU but not sure of the other

Did someone save Wayne Mills' bulletin regarding the status of this project.
If so, would appreciate you forwarding it along to me. I didn't save it but
now I find I want to refer back to what Wayne stated.
Thanks and 73,

Ain't that wonderful, getting an award for working an illegal operation.
But wait a minute, didn't the boys on H40 say it was legal to operate in
that segment of the band out there? Maybe it is legal in other parts of the
world too? But wait a moment again, did W9WNV or UB5RR really not go to
Anyone else find the Ogasawara log site for the 8N1OGA operation broken?

Are there any pointers for QSLing 4U1ITU? I don't know the operator who was
in the IARU contest this weekend but I understand one requirement is the op

know the operator and has to wait on the bureau system.
Anyone know
Someone asked the other day as to whether A52OM counted. Apparently Ray
never sent in his documentation as he didn't know it was necessary, hence
his operation was never approved. I have been in contact with Ray about
this. He has forwarded what appears to be the necessary documents to ARRL
