Did anyone on the list work a station J97QBK back in

Abe. I have been unable to find any info about this station at all.

For me, CW is the ONLY way. The Tri-Bander is up the
tower and will stay there. 2 Elements for 30 Mtrs going up in late
September. 80 Mtr Delta Loop is a Killer. Bring it
on

I would suggest you keep your rig, and
amplifier (that goes on 110AC) and
at least a 2 ele. beam (armstrong aimed)...you got a chance...CW is
your
best bet.

GOOD LUCK !!!

According to ARRL, the most commonly worked and submitted QSL for DXCC is Italy.

It always amazes me in what order people work their countries for DXCC.Amongst my first 100 were AH1, S2 and VK9C. Some people had been trying towork those for a long time! It took me almost forever to work EZ and Istill don't have A9 and VK9X. I worked ST0RY for my new one this year. There are quite a few I haven't worked yet including A5, BS7H, VU4,VU7, P5, etc. What will next year bring? :-)73, Zack W9SZ

Too far away...

You know, of course, the irony of the Navy pulling out of Vieques (sp?) as a
bombing range. They've also closed the Naval base there. NOW the islanders
don't know if they're going to get enough of a tourist trade to replace the
loss.

Proof once again of the old (allegedly BY) proverb: Be careful what you
wish for. You might get it.

Ronit will never happen.closing down Roosevelt Roads means a loss of
2000 plus jobs and millions of dollars spent in the local economy.
Conquistador Hotel next door stayed shut down for years until recent times.

They are now wishing for relief for the victims.
