I just finished swapping out an Alliance rotor (that had given up the ghost) with a Ham-IV and the digital control unit.
Question for anyone having this type of control unit: Is the 3 digit display suppose to flucuate? IOW, at rest, for example, the display will bounce back nbetween 136 and 137 or 000 and 360. Is this normal? There is no wind to move the beam and I am not a sure that this is suppose to happen. Other than that, everything seems to work perfectly, including the brake delay unit Perhaps someone with more experience than a few hours can shed some light??
