However, the video on that web page mentions that they were at a relatives house, so I assume the relative was the ham. Thanks Dave, and thanks for posting this to the list (just saved me from duplicating the effort) I also couldn't find any ham with the last name of Braham living in Florida. I hadn't thought about them being at a relative's home. Putting the city (Palm Bay FL) and street name (Alaska Avenue) into QRZ came up with KJ4KFF. From the articles it seems that Barbara Tenn was the 76 year old mother of Melville Braham and she had only recently been licensed. No doubt the family was attempting to do a favor for her and may have had no idea of the dangers involved, and it unlikely that Ms. Tenn had the horsepower to recognize the pending disaster. This should give us all pause to rethink our safety practices and to encourage all, licensed or otherwise, to properly plan out these activities to guarantee safely. The three people who were electrocuted were visiting a relative on Alaska Ave. It is not the people who were electrocuted who were hams, it's the person they were visiting.
