[DX-CHAT] Old DXAC files
I have boxes of paper DXAC files that go back to day one when the DXAC was created. They have been in my storage room for over 30 years and it is time to do something with them. I am over 70 now and in good health, however one does not know what the future holds for you. It has come time to dispose of them one way or another. Does anyone want them for research or whatever? I am sure there is a lot of history of the DXCC Program in these papers. I do not have the time or interest to do such research. They are free. If anyone wants them, they will have to pick them up or pay the shipping costs. I will be going to Dayton and can bring them there for pickup. Some are in boxes and some in big IBM Blue notebooks. The weight is somewhere between 100 and 200 pounds. If no interest, I will have to send them to the dump. 73, John, N4MM Past DXAC member and ARRL Board DXAC Liaison Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX related items only, dx-chat@njdxa.org This is the DX-CHAT reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org

[DX-CHAT] DXCC 2000
I normally do not post anything here but it has been interesting to read all the comments about BS7H and other DXCC matters. I was the person who made the motion at the ARRL Board meeting to create the DXCC 2000 Committee and ended up as its Chairman. With 10 on the committee, it was like trying to herd cats. I could write a book about it but too long for here. I will be at Dayton and if anyone is interested, I will be glad to answer any questions about it. 73, John, N4MM Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX related items only, dx-chat@njdxa.org This is the DX-CHAT reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org
