I dont remember W2AGN ever on the League Board, but if he had been he would have known that the Executive Committee was made up OF sitting Directors, not the staff at Newington. The EC is elected by member Directors, not the staff. The Board lays out broad policy directives and the staff implements those directives, often with the guidance of the Director(s) who made the motions that Board adopted. But of course, you would have to be a member of the League to know that.
