Logs, QRT Schedule, Low-bands Report & Latest Pictures Logs - Log could not be updated 12 hours ago due to a poor path on the PACTOR link. We're up to date now though! Generally logs have been getting on-line within 2-26 hours and many have commented favorably on the speed and we thank you for the praise... it makes it worthwhile!
Logs now updated to 23/04/02 22:08. QRT Schedule latest - Ops tent #2 (6M & 4th HF station) is coming down this morning as well as the accommodation tent. Three stations will be left running in Ops tent #1. Station #1 with the VL-1000 amplifier will be alternating on 160M and 80M, which ever provides the most successful run rate. Station #2 is an FT-1000MP MkIV running 200W and will be on 40M. Station #3 is the FT-1000MP Field and will be alternating between 20M & 15M. These stations will be active today and tonight and will QRT just after local sunrise around 2000 UTC, which is 6am local. Low-bands report - At sunset, 160M was quiet. W8JI was heard CQing with no takers. However, by the time USA signals were enhanced, noise levels rose to 20 over S9. It was a pleasure to hear stronger signals from the US, but QRN levels made it impossible to stitch together callsigns. Similarly with JA signal where only a few calls were assembled. There was no EU opening at sunrise for 3rd day in a row, and in fact 80M closed to EU much earlier than normal, and signals on 40M were also down. For the last night, we will alternate between 160/80 beginning before 0800 and 40M will be on continuously. We will also have one station on 20M & 15M alternately. VK9ML will QRT after sunrise local around 20:00 UTC April 24. 73, Steve - KF2TI I live in my own little world. But it's OK... they know me here. I am a `nobody', and nobody is perfect; therefore I am perfect. outgoing mail scanned with Norton's NAV2002 ------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems, etc DX-NEWS http://njdxa.org/dx-news DX-CHAT: http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net/
