[DX-NEWS] P5/4L4FN worked on 6 metres in VK6 ???

2002-09-09 Thread cocom

Hi all

A few VK6 hams worked P5/4L4FN on 6 metres around 06:50 UTC. I was not
aware of Ed been active on 6 metres. Anyone shed any light on this ?.
There was propagation to South Korea area at the time so it is possible
or it could have been a SLIM !!!.

Any info appreciated, unfortunately I was not one of them but have him
confirmed on 20 metres.

73 John VK6NU

[DX-NEWS] VU7 1989 op query

2002-09-09 Thread Charles Harpole

DXers... Can anyone tell me the month(s) and day(s) of the operation on the
Laccadives of the VU7APR and VU7NRO 1989 DXpedition?

Did either call operate exclusively on one mode... CW or SSB ?

The operators were VU2: SU, URX, BL, MY and JOS, I think.

Tnx, 73, K4VUD
