There has been some confusion regarding a callsign B0YA (B-zero-YA), active
on cw since mid-February. This is not China, not Antarctica, but not slim
either ... it's an Argentine maritime project usings buoys (boya in
Spanish). Instead of using an LU callsign, it is using B-zero-YA, like
Kia Orana
I will be going to the post office this morning with 2 boxes of ZK1CG North
Cooks and ZK1USA/ North and South Cooks QSLs to send off Air mail.
The Group that went to Manihiki Atoll for the CQWW SSB contest still have
not received the Groups QSL cards from the printers. I was running

HH7PV, direct and otherwise, along with NUMEROUS routings for the

I think we should not take the B 0 YA operation too seriously.
I wrote to the LU0ARC guys directly (the supposed qsl direction).
They know nothing about this operation. Apparently, the boya project
is still in preparation and not operational yet.
